Issued on October 22, 1988, in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, the 25-cent stamp paid the contemporary First-Class Mail letter rate. These stamps were first released at a First Day ceremony during the SEPAD '88 exhibition in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. This special event was part of the Associated Stamp Clubs of Southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware's 48th annual meeting, making these stamps not only a beautiful addition to your collection, but also a piece of postal history.
